Thought for 11-5-12 and Prayer Line

Tomorrow will be one of the most important days in the history of the election of a United States President.? Please vote whatever is in your heart.? I have voted early.? The past four (4) years have made me wonder if I will continue to enjoy the great freedom that we have.? The price we pay could be devastating if the the wrong man is voted into this office.? I think each of you know what I am saying.? I want our country to regain the respect from all nations which has slowly declined over a number of years.? I firmly believe that with God and prayer in our country we can overcome all obstacles.? Have a great day, and remember to keep in your prayers all those that you know need prayers for whatever reason.

Thought for 11-6-12 and Prayer Line

We have finally arrived at this day which in my mind is the most important election day in the 30-40 years.? We have traveled a long and bumpy road for the past four (4) years and I am not afraid to speak out about my feelings on the future of our great country.? The United States of America needs to be led by a man that will keep us United with God as his leader.? It is frightening to live with the thought that we have been misled.? Those of you who disagree with me and ask me to keep my views to country music news have the same kind of freedom I have, to write and speak my feelings and today is election day, so that makes it open to the general population to speak what they feel.?

I sent an email to my children and told them to make sure they vote.? If they want changes in our country they have to make those changes known by their vote.? If they are happy the way things are, then I can do nothing about that except try to explain to them, that our country is in deep trouble with the present administration.? As you can tell by my emails, I have been open about my thoughts about who I want to win this election.?

MyThought for this Day is below and it was sent to me from a dear friend-PLEASE READ.?? My prayer is to urge everyone to vote and make the changes necessary for our great nation to change direction and get off of the back roads and back on the main highway to rebuild what I feel has almost been destroyed.? Let us stand united no matter what happens and show the rest of the world that we are ONE NATION UNDER GOD WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY.

Thought for 11/7/12 and Prayer Line

The election is over and Mitt Romney did not win, but I am happy that I voted for him and I know he would have made a great President.? What bothers me the most, and to those of you who are Obama supporters, this will sound like sour grapes, but I am going to say it because it is what I feel.

Obama made a statement last night that I wish he would have never made, and I quote, ?THE BEST IS YET TO COME.?? If the best is yet to come with him as President, how in the hell will he be able to take care of the worst 4 years of his first term.? He has not been able to take care of our veteran?s, our economy is still lagging with unemployment at a high rate, the country no doubt is split, but it would have also been split it Gov. Romney had won.

The popular vote tells us that we have trouble in our country.?Obama made a lot of promises when he was elected to his first term.? He wrote a check that he could not cover.??He bailed out many companies who are still either bankrupt, out of business, or holding on by a thread because of the economy. And speaking of bailing out, he did just that in Ohio for the auto workers, he gave them money and jobs, and of course Ohio was one of the important swing states that helped take him over the top.

I will bet good money that the mechanics for Air Force One and the plane that Obama?s wife uses, are putting in new engines on these planes, because Obama will be off on his normal vacations with Michelle and the kids so they can enjoy the wonders and comforts of the world at the taxpayer?s expense.?I am serious about this.

The Presidency of the United States of America is a job and not a vacation, and Obama better take heed of this.? Stop using taxpayers money to enjoy the luxuries of the office of President.? As citizens we understand that the President of the United States must travel and meet with other heads of countries, and we accept that, but Obama has taken advantage of this privilege.? Obama?s home is the White House and Camp David, but to take the entire family so that the Secret Service has double duty is uncalled for.?There is no doubt that many of the ghosts that walk the floors of the White House are not happy today.

I am hoping beyond hope that he will take care of our veterans.?The he will take the stress out of our elderly lives with a Health Care plan that will let them know that they will be taken care of, and the plan will be acceptable to all of the citizens of our country.? I hope that he will stand up for what our country stands for and let those nations that have threatened us, be advised that we will not accept their threats any longer.? I hope he will let the oil companies know that enough is enough and that the pump prices will be frozen at a price that will allow families to save some of their hard earned money for their children?s education, to keep their homes, take a vacation once a year, and be able to pay for all of this by having jobs to enjoy their life?s.

He needs to not only find jobs for the auto workers, he needs to take care of this nation that is struggling along.? But to say ?THE BEST IS YET TO COME? should have been left out of his reelection speech.? That part of his speech is hypocritical of what he promised four (4) years ago and never fulfilled his promises.

He needs to hold his hand over his heart when our National Anthem is being played or sang.? He needs to respect our flag which is the symbol of The United States of America, and this symbol needs to be put back on all of his airplanes and anything else that carries the symbol of our country.?

.

He needs to understand what the colors RED, WHITE, AND BLUE STAND FOR.?? He need to study the words Commander In Chief and realize that it does not mean dictator to what ?He Wants,? it is what the people want.

.

If what I have written sounds like sour grapes, then so be it, but only those who wear blinders will not agree with what I have said.? If you do not like what I have written then delete it because I am tired of keeping my feelings to myself.? I will continue to send out the Thought for the Day, Prayer Line, Obits, news and editorials on country music, and I will not make it a habit to write about politics, but I will speak my peace when I have something to say.

Thought for 11-9-12 and Prayer Line

Yesterday evening as I was leaving WalMart I saw Billy Linneman with his wife going into the store. He was looking as great as ever.? Always that smile, and he was walking with both prostheticslegs.? I asked him how he felt and he said great and I told him that we have him on the prayer line.? He said to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.? I was amazed at how great he looked and the mobility that he had.? I ask you to continue to keep Billy in your prayers, and also to keep Bill Carlisle Jr. in your thoughts and prayers also.? What a great joy to see Billy Linneman moving forward in his life.?? PRAYERS HEARD-PRAYERS ANSWERED.

Thought for 11.10.12 and Prayer Line

Continued prayers for our military men and women who keep our peace.

Pray that our nation comes back to prayer to solve our issues, and that the President will lead us on a better path of life that will make us strong again as we stand together as one.
